Flowers in Thailand

"There are always flowers for those who want to see them."- Henri Matisse

The canal, taken from the window of my guesthouse the first morning back. I've moved though, to a quieter residential street, which is also lovely, as I walk by the local Thais living their regular life (whatever a regular life is). They are much more laid back here. It is good for the psyche.

A fish transaction I witnessed yesterday, during one of my long sojourns on the side of the road. I spent the day sitting on the curb talking to a tuk-tuk driver and sitting on a stool here, drinking an iced coffee. It was a much-warranted lazy day.
